Install instructions

Windows install should be pretty straight-forward, just download the build for your OS extract the files from the zip into a folder anywhere on your PC then double click the .exe to start the game, but for Linux/Mac there's gonna be some assembly required: download the current version of GZDoom for your device, drop the files found inside standalone.zip (other.zip on the downloads page) into the root of your new gzdoom folder then launch gzdoom and select Altared Gate to start the game.

It's impossible to jump over the yellow parts. Is it what we're supposed to do ?

The yellow zones within the mazes should be avoided, a true dead end if you will haha. Treat them as any other dead end but make sure to take note of where they are since they won't show up on your in game map the same way a regular dead end will and could easily catch you by surprise if you're using the map while walking too much. Also I recommend quicksaving often, hope this helps you in your search for the exit, thank you for playing!
